Depression is a mood disorder characterised by low mood and a wide range of other possible symptoms, which often vary from person to person. This illness can develop quickly or gradually, and can be brought on by life events 'and or' changes in bodies chemistry. It can strike anyone, and is curable in very many cases.

Depression is a real illness that impacts the brain. Anyone suffering from depression will tell you, it's not imaginary or 'all in your head.' Depression is more than just feeling 'down.' It is a serious illness!
